Tools and Apps Needed

Step 1: Youtube Playlist Setup

Create a New Playlist on your YouTube account for podcasts/videos you plan to repurpose for content creation.

Step 2: First Zap Setup

Open Zapier, create a new Zap and set the trigger as a new video added to a YouTube playlist. Connect your YouTube account and test the trigger.

Configure the action by selecting Speak AI and opting for "Upload File to Transcribe and Analyse" as the event. Input your Speak AI API key, then assign the Title to one field and the URL to another. Once this setup is complete, proceed to test the flow.

Step 3: Second Zap Setup

Create an Airtable Account and establish a new base. Within the table, set up four columns: Video Title, Video Transcript, Generated Content, and Video Link. Feel free to add additional columns as needed.

Now, configure a new zap by selecting Spark AI and setting the trigger as "New Automated Transcription" in Speak AI. Specify the event as "New Automated Transcription" and proceed to test it.

Next, add the action as Create a Record in Airtable, attach the Transcript Data and Title to the respective fields and test it.

Step 4: Content Generation with OpenAI API

  • Visit platform.openai.com/api-keys to generate a fresh API key and top up the balance if necessary.

  • Now, continue the 2nd zap by adding another action: Send Prompt in OpenAI (GPT-4, DALL-E, Whisper). Then, in the Action Tab, set up the following prompt by filling in the details according to your requirements.

I want you to write tweets for me based on a transcript.

These tweets are characterized by being extremely original and unique. They are always based on the tone of voice of the creator of the transcript, while still being written in a concise tone.

For context, [INSERT CONTEXT]

Here are some examples of "tweets", separated by [NEW TWEET]:

Here is the transcript I want you to create tweets from:

Now, do this:
1) Learn what tone of voice and structure characterizes tweets.
2) Read the transcript and extract 100 ideas from it.
3) Based on the constraints I gave you, write 50 new tweets in the tone of voice of the transcript creator for me.

Constraints for the tweets:
1 No hashtags
2 No emojis
3 Concise tone of voice
4 Use complete sentences
5 Don't use exclamation marks
6 Must be shorter than 280 characters
7 Must be in the tone of voice of the transcript creator

  • Following that, test the workflow. You will observe some content generated by the API.

  • Subsequently, include an additional action in the zap to update records in the Airtable. Utilize this to add the generated content to the table.

  • Lastly, publish the automation and activate it.

Now, whenever you add a new video to the playlist, the automation flow will trigger, and you will get content in the Airtable base.
